FCM exercise at U-Space

U-Space srl, partner of the PECUS project, organized a Fuzzy Cognitive Mapping exercise for its staff in Rome. In this case, FCM was applied to a simulation of a participatory planning meeting aimed at the definition of a strategy for the protection of a nature reserve, based on a recent experience within the Interreg Italy-Croatia “CREW” project.

As is often the case with cognitive mapping, participants have turned from somewhat sceptical at first to rather enthusiastic in the end!

Mental Modeler was used for building the maps and elaborating scenarios.
